Alexandria d MjdVerified ReviewerI paid and registered for service in 2020. For the first year, It was difficult to get anyone on the phone to assist with start up.
Although the invoices continued to come in. I paid $189.00 per month. Note that my account never went LIVE. I found that the platforms that they said you could get "free content" from were inadequate. The content itself was from the 1960's or greater. I continued to pay to keep my channel on Roku. Then I was presented an offer from "Brock Fisher" that would enable me to add Apple TV/Fire TV and IOS for a promotional price. I was told that I would not be billed for this apps until my service went live. I didn't go LIVE until November 2023, when I want to stream my Son's memorial service so that his friends and business associates could view it from abroad. Most couldn't login, the Apple TV and Fire TV never worked. In October, my rep Abner (who was phenomenal by the way) announced that he would be leaving the company. I then asked if it were possible to place my account on hold. I had lost my only child and was planning to leave the country for a while. I returned in January. Immediately upon return, I learned that my account was not placed on hold. Rather, they continued to bill me and had deactivated my account entirely. I phoned and spoke with "Wendy". Wendy, told me that she had to "escalate" the matter and put me in touch with her supervisor "Mary Fisher", Brock Fisher's wife. Note, that the entire time I was communicating with Wendy, there was a lot of loud chatter and laughter going on in the background. So much so that I could barely hear and understand what she was saying. I finally, got the opportunity to speak with Mary. She listened and told me that she only saw a Roku channel for me and a sub-channel. She DID NOT see the Apple TV/ Fire TV and IOS apps. Keep in mind that I paid for these channels a few years ago. While I was on the call with Mary I was disconnected. She didn't think enough of me to call back. I phoned in again and was told that she was on another call assisting a customer and would have to call me back. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK! Instead, I received an email saying that she could find where I had paid for the other apps and she had the audacity to say that "they don't build channels/apps for fee". At this point, I'm insulted! I had paid for the additional apps. eanwhile, I received a call asking me if I was ok with them reducing my payment because I was going to cancel. I accepted this offer and instead of paying the $189 per month, I was being billed at $149.00 per month for the Roku Channel and $49.00 per month for the sub-channel. In July 2023, I received emails stating that my Fire TV and Apple TV channels were active. These emails came from two separate individuals. Note, my channels are still not active or Live at this point. I have called almost everyday in an effort to resolve this matter amicably. Today, Gerard the rep I spoke to told me "you're asking us to re-activate your channels at the rate $149.00. A bold faced lie! I never at any point requested this . I've not made a payment since October 2023. So technically I would owe $149.00 + $49.00 for Four (4) months) and they should be able to tell me what I would begin paying on a monthly basis for the addition apps. Instead, Mary Fisher, tried to tell me that I never paid for the apps. Yet, I provided a receipt for ALL. Gerard, said he couldn't assist me because Mary was his boss, but that he would make sure that Mary returned my call today. I been waiting on Mary's call since 4:23pm February 7, 2024. Of course she didn't call today. What's really disappointing is that I still have not meet the requirement of four (4) hours of content so that my channel can go live. The website, still isn't complete and I must be the real fool because I'm calling in an effort to bring about resolution and give them my money. Brock Fisher, Mary Fisher, Ben Fisher, the entire Fisher Clan are running an unscrupulous operation. I will continue to fight. I launched this channel for my Son and I wont' stop until I reach a resolution. I'm two minutes short of calling the FCC and other regulatory entities to file a formal complaint. Cons:
